I'll take a swing for the fences with a very "out there" take on what's going to happen....
The first thing to notice is that which is not happening (but should). There's been a howling silence around Real ID and this upcoming deadline. It's a huge change but virtually no one is talking about it. That's for all different reasons and we can examine them to find out what that tells us.
The mainstream is silent because "They" are hoping it works this time and they don't want to Streisand it. By "this time", part of that silence is that no one remembers this whole thing literally goes back two decades, to the Real ID Act of 2005.
They've tried this deadline thing over and over and over and it's failed every time because of chaos and ensuing popular pushback. This is just the latest iteration and they don't want to jinx it. What, for example, does CNN have to say about it? Over a year ago and does not even mention Real ID:
Nor can you find any of the brave "patriot podcasters" mentioning it. Search on "alex jones real id" and you'll get nothing other than that he's Bill Hicks. This tells you that they're pretty much all disinfo platforms or too dumb to figure out what's really going on and so are being used as disinfo platforms.
On the political side, Kristi Noem has mentioned it once and Trump has mentioned it zero. So that means they're also "in on it", right? I don't think so.
TSA says 81% of airplane passengers have Real ID, leaving a pretty thick percentage who do not. What happens on May 7th? Planes aren't taking off leaving 1 out of 5 outraged passengers on the ground who want their money back. I'm guessing the whole thing boils over once again.
Here's the big prediction: Trump wants it to boil over once again, and that will be the springboard for a big "America First" pitch on this. Citizens have to have a special fucking driver's license to fly around in their own country while illegal aliens vote in their fucking elections and dead people collect social fucking security? I mean, I know the MSM will say anything, but I don't even know where they begin to defend this.
So if the plan comes together, Real ID finally goes away, voter ID finally goes through, and DOGE gets a further boost in popularity.
PS: For reference, the closest you can get to any real discussion of Real ID is here, but it's just to bash Massie, Trump, and all Republicans:
So you have to ask yourself why Trump & Co. would want to bring the issue to a head over the objections of the totalitarian motherfuckers at the TSA itself?
