The Why Files did a video a few months back on the "Occult Symbolism" and he just said stuff like "the hand over the eye is just done because it's cool." 😕
The Why Files guy is either an idiot, or intentionally misleading people. He said he supported the most obvious hoax bigfoot video as being possibly true, and the documentary/interview he based his Antarctica stuff on was done by an obvious bullshitter who you could easily tell had never served in the military (he was bullshitting/larping).
I think a lot of people attribute this to "trends." Also how many people actually read People, Glamour, etc? Most people who do read such magazines have been conditioned to just see this stuff as weird Hollywood trends. Those who never read them just see the magazines as trash and ignore them as gossip anyway.
I have mixed feelings about the WhyFiles. I did see the occult symbolism and understand the WhyFiles is (1) trying to make money (2) catering to "normies" who have a very limited understanding so he has to water-down his approach.
Awhile back the WhyFiles made "dramatic/concerning" videos stating his channel and life were in danger because he was exposing DARPA - as if that was the big secret of the world. In my opinion, if the guy was legit he would be doing videos on the (Jewish) question as THAT is the untouchable question that drives true understanding of the world. Asking the Jewish Question would really put his channel and life in danger. So to cast his lot on DARPA being this untouchable end-all conspiracy just put me off. The channel seems like a red-herring.
