Sure, thats the common answer. But why is the sun further away in the summer than in it is in winter.
That makes absolutely no sense on a globe model.
In the flat closed system model, in the summer, the sun is more over your head, but a bit higher. In the winter it moves away from us, but decends a bit.
The key driver of the seasons is the Earth's obliquity. The flat earth fiasco was widely debunked last year by a billionaire who paid for an Antarctic expedition for several prominent FE tools. Most converted on the spot. One bozo was just going on about projections and holograms.
