If we're trying reconcile the facts instead of having a pissing match this would be what happens AFTER a struggle session. The victim would have been put in prison and hit with all manner of accusations and kafka traps to "confirm" the accusations then paraded around to pretend how just and necessary it is for the ccp to root out ideological dissent.
You can make a direct comparison from this to twitter and facebook posts about black boxes and virtue signalling because it is essentially the same. The guy was already banned and not allowed to speak. This display is what happens after the thought reform.
