I actually seen a failing one for the first time, I notice the light is still white but the ground is purple. Waiting to see what happens when it fails. Will it just go to purple within a week or does it take a few weeks to happen?
Still weird though, this has been ongoing for almost 6 years now or something like that, since 2018 I believe. If they have known about the defect for that long, why are they still making them so cheaply? Just planned obsolescence?
The leading theory back then was surveillance cameras in the lightbulbs.
