a) Rationalize implies a ratio (many under few) and a conflict of reason (us vs them), hence the one rationalizing viewing self as part of a group, and in opposition to another.
b) Since the foundation of many implies few...many are protecting few no matter what aka followers supporting leaders; slaves supporting masters; students supporting teachers; voters supporting representatives; buyers supporting sellers; gentiles supporting jews.
Underneath that...how does one become part of many? By shirking response-ability onto others. This shirking has to be protected by protecting those one shirked response-ability onto...otherwise a shirker would have to face self instead of blaming others.
c) Entire and Type implies the mindset of many who rationalize other collectives as entirety, hence typifying/marking/idolizing perceivable partials as suggested entirety. This is what allows one to speak in the name of others.
