I know what non-believers say when they are turned off by the passivity they see among Christians. It's not all to be sure, but I just witnessed it and it makes my stomach turn. This woman's husband is dying, and people are giving her advice. She has basically given him over to godless doctors who will chemo him to death. Her refrain is "ultimately it is in God's hands".
I think any serious student of the Bible knows God will not accept that as an excuse for your cowardice. "Well I prayed, so I'm done" is bs. You prayed, and now God has put people in your life who could help you, but you need to be willing to fight. If not for your own family than for who? It just seems so lukewarm.
Meanwhile some of the commenters (and her herself) are more concerned about how SHE is doing. "I'm already doing better, thanks". "Don't let it ruin your peace". Your husband is dying, and you're just accepting it without a proper fight! Some random stranger on the internet is fighting for your family more than you!
PS: I know this isn't the forum for this, but I'm banned from the so-called "Christian" community here because I refuse to say the Vatican is anything but of the devil himself.
a) Active (motion) Passage (momentum) Reactive (matter)...few suggest passivism to distract many from being (life) passed (inception towards death).
Passive implies "receptive", hence enacted upon...each one within nature is receptive to all of enacting nature.
b) Christian/christ/khristos/khriein "to rub; to anoint"... https://www.etymonline.com/word/Christ#etymonline_v_11332
Matter (life) coming through the momentum (inception towards death) of motion implies the coming into being of EACH anointed one.
Nature directs one (life) through a passage (inception towards death)...ones consent to suggested passiv-ism turns one against others within a conflict of reason (active vs passive).
Being implies one within all....others suggest nihil-ism (not) and affirm-ism (sure) to distract one from that.
Reason makes your stomach turn, because reasoning implies holding onto one side, while fighting the other, which shapes indigestion within a moving nature.
Whatever one holds within self (mentally and physically) keeps tumbling over by nature forcing one to let go. Needing to let go, while wanting to hold onto implies each ones struggle with temptation aka sin.
a) God implies auto (same action)...each anointed one within implies manual (different reactions).
b) God gives...each anointed one within receives, while struggling manually to resist the temptation to hold onto it.
Student/study - "to strive toward"... https://www.etymonline.com/word/study#etymonline_v_22215
Striving towards implies falling for the temptation to ignore resisting origin. It's few (teachers) who tempt many (students) to follow suggested temptations towards DEATH, because that's what one aims at when one ignores to resist temptations.
a) FORwards implies towards outcome...being implies in response (life) to origin (inception towards death).
b) If origin, then outcome...that's how implication works.
If not, then nothing...that's how reason (yes vs no) inverts implication by turning those reasoning against each other.
God implicates...if enacting cause, then reacting effects. Reason tempts effects against each other, while ignoring cause.
Christ (anointed one) implies each UNIT set apart from one another. A chosen one suggests COMMON-ism under disguise of UNITY to tempt consenting ones together.
Comm-unity contradicts Christ...if one joins others.
