When I was a kid, and our source of water was the well. Pretty much until the day she died, me mum would not let me draw water outta of the well after dark.

I dont know if she was just afraid I was going to fall in or something lmao, but she would tell me with these wide scared eyes about how she knew people who just vanished after going outside in the dark to do something. She was very adamant about this lmao.
