Dude wasnt threatening workers, he was "threatening" to liberate the supplies that he thought were there thanks to the rumors on social media. Pretty obvious he wasnt a threat when the judge let him go on a 10k bail.
And yes, they lied about the trucks or so it would seem.

Government allows companys, corporations, and farmers to systematically erode the natural swamplands that help buffer these areas.
Then offers to buy them out to move them to "safer" areas.
