What this FBI account is trying to do is paint this place as a hangout for criminals who are apt to be reported by informants who lurk here.
The truth is that the only one promoting murder is an FBI account. We know it is an FBI account because it has been reported to the FBI multiple times and the FBI has not made an arrest. When this was pointed out, the FBI accounts went on a massive damage control campaign which you can probably still see if you click their usernames.
There is no criminal element here. What the FBI is doing is creating bad optics for the political right under the pretext of conducting an investigation that necessitates portraying their fake accounts as plotting to kill public figures and orchestrating mass shootings. Other FBI accounts try to initiate online child pornography searches and trading here for the same reason, hoping to ensnare someone to make headlines.
I do not work for the FBI, but it is the legal responsibility to bring plots to murder other people to the attention of law enforcement.
