The situation was indeed stupid, the male cop should've assessed the situation better.
However, he did pushed to the ground the person that was currently kicking a person on the ground. If you can see it from his eyes, he was thinking he was stopping the ongoing attack.
Unfortunately, due to the removal of that person, the attacker with the knife got free, and attacked directly the police officer.
Was this symbolic?
Where is the example of female cops holding a gun, while their colleague was stabbed?

The women police officers did absolutely nothing. The attacked with a knife was gunned down by another male cop.

Watch the video. The male cop, you label as "the state", pushed the man, who was kicking a guy on the ground. Although, clearly a stupid move, in the spur of the moment, it seemed as the logical move.

And it's regretable that people see the upvotes from the NPCs, without a discussion, and think "I have done some good today... I have informed the NPCs that tomorrow will follow whoever triggered them the most, and forget about yesterday"...
