My point was: You said yourself that you are "usually pretty up-to-date with what's going on", which let's just admit, it was an exageration on your part, or you definitely don't know what is really to be "up-to-date".

If you are so much "up-to-date", I assumed that if you had more knowledge, that you would like to share it. A mistake of mine, that I now realize. Apparently, you like to keep your information to yourself, while waiting for others to "fill you in" on the current topic.
