Maybe, but even in "world wars" majority of the world lived in peaceful harmony, with no war, just with disruptions in global economic activity.
So don't go to NATO countries with direct battle lines with the resisting nations nor into countries where armed conscription is a given.
Plenty of places with decent living standards in Central and South America, not to mention Asia. Africa for the adventurous!
Europe is Fucked, parts of Russia and China, Turkey and India too. Yet, those are all big countries and if you live in the countryside, you can just have a nice quiet life.
Even US would probably do "mostly fine", unless you live in big urban centers or near the conflict borders.
Who wants to fuck with the wild mountain people living off the land? Nobody.
I take as my example the experience of Native Americans. I suppose one could say they live "in peaceful harmony, with no war, just with disruptions in global economic activity". Not really how I would describe it, though.
