How is Yandex giving old google results? All it does is to push out Russian sites for me.
It's not giving "old google results".
It has it's own crawled database, separate from Google and Bing and Baidu, and censors different stuff from what Google does.
I assume he meant results like old google, without the current big tech censorship.
It doesn't exist on the internet anymore though. Anyone who says otherwise is probably ignorant or got memoryholed/gaslighted.
