Curse/cursus/course (onward movement) from root kers - "to run"

Being implies resistance (life) within velocity (inception towards death)...running with onward movement curses one, hence few putting the spell of progressivism upon many to curse them out.

Descendant/descendre - "to come down"

Being implies temporary rise (life) during ongoing fall (inception towards death) hence coming to be up from down under (underground; nether-realm etc.)
