The short, short version of this for Christians....circumcision gains you nothing spiritually, you don't have to do it, nor for your kids.

The Jewish converts in the 1st century tried to convince new Greek Christians they had to, and to follow their dietary laws, and Peter and Paul and a council at the time said, no, you don't.
