Sucks having a lactose allergy. I didnt have it as a kid and no one else has it in my family. It happened after I was bitten by a tick.
Its funny I was drinking a ton of milk 2 years ago in a attempt to get my phosphorous levels up. My liver enzymes went pretty high. Doctor basically accused me of being a drunk lmao. After realizing it was the milk and telling the walk in doctor that, they looked at me like I was the biggest retarded piece of shit in history. Then goes on to say there is only one form of vitamin d. Where the fuck do they train these guys in canada.
Anyway, you google. Can milk hurt your liver? And all the top results are conclusive. NO.
Milk is good for liver health, including fatty liver. Scientific studies support the consumption of milk, particularly low-fat options, to combat fatty liver disease. With its rich nutritional composition, milk offers proteins, vitamins, and minerals that aid liver function and regeneration.
But then you look at what milk intolerance is right? Let alone a milk allergy.
Normally, when lactose reaches the digestive system, the lactase enzyme breaks it down into glucose and galactose. The liver then changes the galactose into glucose, which enters the bloodstream and raises the person’s blood glucose level. If lactose is incompletely broken down, the blood glucose level does not rise and a diagnosis of lactose intolerance is confirmed.
Your liver loses the ability to break it down. Would that not damage it?
I got into all this again because I ran out of pop for a couple days and was drinking milk instead.
Sure enough ended up with a rash on my leg a couple days later , and a simple google search of lactose allergy rash shows me dozens of images that look like my leg.
