Airplanes fly straight and level across a plane, hence the name "airplane".
In the debunked globe theory a plane would fly out in to "space" on long flights or would have to be constantly nosing down to follow the curve, which planes never do.
Going from north to south and vice versa planes would be landing upside down, this is impossible in the real world, only in cartoons.
