I never build with Intel.
I avoided Dell servers because they use Intel.
Do you think AMD is immune from this?
Think they are going to put a secret spy chip on intel, but not the other one?
In amd's case, the chip is embedded into the cpu itself. There is no way to disable the chip and keep the functionality of the cpu.
WIth the older versions of me you could burn a hole through the me chip or flash it with a bunk software and disable it, but im sure thats prolly been fixed now.
Then on top of that every bit that goes across the ether is recorded and stored somewhere like iron mountain.
Your only choice is to use old hardware but even then thanks to the spectre and amd relevant exploits, they arent exactly secure either.
