The media uses simple tactic to manipulate:

• talk about the event in an emotional manner,

• highlight only the part of the reality they want (women murdered) and not the whole picture.

It’s all a distraction.

The lady who’s recorded the narrative barely speaks English. There is less and less liars happy to do their dirty job.
