Interesting that in all marketing shit about CBDC they never present any property of CBDC that is different from traditional debit/credit card systems. Not a single one.
Also everything they plan to do using CBDC behind the curtains is perfectly possible using any current credit/debit card system. Technically, VISA/Mastercard/AmericanExpress/etc. even don't need any marketing efforts to convince people to use them, and they could implement all their sick dreams about control over people through money right now, without any efforts, exactly like they plan to do it with CBDC.
So, I'm sure CBDC narrative is not about "control over people". They could control people right here, right now with existing card services and do everything you could imagine about CBDC without any CBDC at all.
There is something else, really, behind all that CBDC hype. Apart from ordinary money stealing from CBDC projects, IDK, say Central Banks and states will be able to issue (print) CBDC without all that pesky national debt or whatever. May be fiat money in any form including electronic one have kind of limitations for those who print it. Say, possibility of inflation. If you could invent currency that could be printed without limitations and this will not cause inflation, then it will be at least logical to try to replace fiat with something else. So try to look ar CBDC benefits in that direction - it could be interesting.
The main "benefit" I've seen them tout regarding CBDC is speed. That everything will happen instantaneously, because while it seems finances are instantaneous now checks still take time to clear, financial institutions still take time to move money, credit card charges live in pending for a few days.
However everything will be more centralized, yes they can control us now but there are multiple banks, credit unions, people with cash on hand etc. To completely unperson someone from the financial system is still difficult and can thus only be done on a per person per institution basis and not every institution is completely on board (mostly smaller ones).
With CBDC they can completely ban people from the entirety of society with ease. Control by the elites will be upped even further because it will only take one flag and one push of a button. They can easily make it so you can't save also by giving your CBDC expiration thus enforcing that you will own nothing. There are endless ways to abuse this that couldn't be done now.
Now it's possible the entire reason this is being mentioned so much is to distract from something else or build up the fear, but it would represent a much tighter grip of control over people
Ayh have been posting about that very discrepancy for years now --> ayh can not find a single wallet, user, pos, transfer, etc etc etc. Not one. India claims millions of transactions. Find not one user who remarks on it. Jamaica deployed it. Not one user discussing their wallet.
The ONLY discussion any where is from banks discussing cross border payments. Bank to bank. Yay we did it. Lets do more.
At the end of the day ayh see no reason to believe CBDC is some thing new for currency. What it IS is the infrastructure for social credit. No brakes. Like you said, its just the same digital transactions as now. But the difference is to be a one world currency with a single user token for social credit.
Ayh believe the minute eID is deployed on a broader scale in a year or two, CBDC is going to fly out of the gate so fast and cash shortages so fast (probably themed on an event) that no one will know what to do to avoid it.. bcz it already exists and all they need is people to have that eID app (and wallet) installed and registered.
CBDC shd not be the conspiracy focus.. biometric eID shd be the sign to watch for.
