Matter does weird stuff. Gravity and magnetism. How does one object know that the other is there? Yet two objects are attracted to each other. Those forces never wear out.

And then there's surface tension in water. When you drop an object into water, the water will typically send a drop of water straight up in reaction to this first object. What shape does that drop of water take? It's a sphere. Why? Because of surface tension.

The only way that the earth could be a disk is if it's rotating so rapidly, that the centrifugal force would match the force of gravity that constantly works to pull that disk back into a stable sphere.

The earth does rotate, and we see evidence of that when water swirls around the drain in a sink. In the northern hemisphere, that swirl runs in one direction, but in the southern hemisphere, the swirl runs in the opposite direction. Why? Because the centrifugal force created by the earths rotation puts a slight side-pressure on the water as it heads down the drain, leading to the swirl. But that side pressure is almost nothing compared to the pressure of gravity.

That rotation is not fast enough to hold a disk in stability. Gravity demands a spherical shape. To say otherwise, denies scientific evidence.
