Before the "supreme gentleman" sought revenge on society for ostracizing and ignoring him, he tried to distinguish himself financially by winning the powerball, for which he traveled the states, while investing the rest of his finances into buying up tickets...

How is this related, if at all?

If one empowers ba'al, then...others have to suffer.
