The internet is a modern day Ship of Theseus rebuilt with parts made out of the eyes of the greatest surveillance state the world has ever known. What would the world be losing if they made it basically nonfunctional? I've learned a lot on the internet probably more than most people in the past learned in their entire lives but at what cost? Look at the kids today using technology they don't understand and worse yet they are completely reliant upon. fuckin' man-made horrors beyond my comprehension w00t w00t! Burn it all down
I've learned a lot on the internet probably more than most people in the past learned in their entire lives but at what cost? Look at the kids today using technology they don't understand and worse yet they are completely reliant upon.
That was before 2013.
After 2013 you learn nothing other than nothing matters other than death and you might as well as give yourself to the Chaos Gods.
I've almost died quite a few times in my life and speaking to people who've never had that experience about death is like talking to a child, we don't view reality in the same way and I'm glad of it.
“Pass on your way, then, with a smiling face, under the smile of him who bids you go.” Marcus Aurelius
