Years ago somebody pointed out a specific location in Banff, Canada, where you could line up some mars rover photos with the exact landscape from Google earth in this location. Also, they "practice with the Mars rover in Banff because the terrain is similar to Mars".
Looks suspiciously like the Mojave desert without color manipulation

It’s Devon Island Canada. If you search SETI research base you can find it on google maps. In the photos it shows the trucks and stuff.
