2 That's the devil's tail in the subway logo.. but why the two tails. Looking into vintage stuff.. it used to be more like a bull's tail. But you get this arrow later on. So they use that with the pitchfork and horns. But what's really going on. Probably meant to symbolize how a subway train can move in both directions.
