... the name of the forgery was "The Gospel of Jesus' Wife"? Lol. Wow. What a title. Why did they want him to have a wife? To invalidate his divinity and make him more human? Anyway, the Shroud of Turin, veil, and even various eucharistic miracles, show supernatural/beyond modern human abilities.
Or are they referring to the Gospel of Mary Magdalene?
There was a reference to a Mary. The feminist scholar tried to use the forgery, which has Jesus saying in Coptic something something "my wife..." (before the fragment ended), and using the reference to the Mary to play into the DaVinci Code plot that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene.
The "Gospel of Jesus Wife" name was pure carnival barking.
