Jews hate absolutely everything about my country whatever name it had through millenia. No wonder they will always tell their tales how awful and bad it was, mostly to satisfy their own hatred. It is pretty common thing, so it's OK.

And no, USSR after approx 1938 had no that worship toward the Jews like West have. I think that is the thing most hated by Jews about USSR.

As for religions - they was definitely not encouraged, but was not persecuted in USSR since around 1938 when Jewish Trotskists who tried to genocide Orthodox and Muslims was mostly exterminated or fleed the country and Jews lost any noticeable power in the country.
