I don't know how they could expect demand to be anything like before when people got the shot then got COVID then saw the unvaccinated they know get COVID. I know some people refuse to see it but I can't imagine as many people would go along this time
No I didn't but if you take the set of all people who got vaccinated there are also many who now realize they were duped who previously believed in it therefore the numbers should be demonstrably less as they have been with each new booster
That's true; I'm just not as optimistic. The covid propaganda has also been palpably less with each new booster. I think when the propaganda machine spins up again, all the "recently-smart" people who realized they were duped will excitedly be duped again, and they will shun people like us again as "conspiritards" and "anti-vaxxers."
They might be falling off the booster wagon, but they're doing so silently. No one is apologizing or eating crow over it.
I agree some people will backtrack. I suppose if this comes to pass we'll see how many, I just believe this post is fear mongering and TPTB will throw something different at us. A repeat of COVID just feels unlikely to achieve similar results as last time without a massive increase in force used for enforcement.
But in any case I mostly came back to write to say I appreciate how you explained your position, a lot of times disagreements here get a little dicey so I am always pleased to speak with someone articulate who keeps it civil
