Ah, you commented on the wrong thread. That's okay.

Still, Francis is a fool, and has said heretical things. Please feel free to continue to criticize. But the 2,000 year old Catholic church, that's worth defending. I can separate the two, can you?

You openly admit your leader is heretical yet you still participate in his church. He’s your leader, right? That’s…something. But yes, I separate your Catholic cult into the same cult bucket as Mormonism, Judaism, Scientology, Seventh Day Adventists, and various other heretical man-made, uninspired religions because they contradict the Bible and Christianity. It’s really that simple.

Peter denied Jesus 3 times. C'mon man, think past your anger.

The Catholic Church is 2,000 years old and Jesus said the gates of hell wouldn't prevail against it. I'll stay in the church Christ himself founded when he walked the earth. We fix something we care about rather than abandon it. It's easy to go from Pastor Bob's converted Pizza Hut church to Pastor Phil's metal barn megachurch with the big screens, ain't it?

When Napoleon at the time the most powerful man in the world said he could destroy the church, Cardinal Consalvi said to him: "If in 1,800 years we clergy have failed to destroy the Church, do you really think that you'll be able to do it?"

And it is so utterly hilarious when a Protestant, of which there are 40,000 or so denominations argue with "read your Bible, it's all there" and say things like "it's really that simple." If it were, mon ami, then everyone would have the same interpretation.

Bible quotes are fired like bullets that bounce of the armor of conviction.

I’m not Protestant. Why can’t you read? Christianity pre-dates Catholicism, so you have no valid point there. The Bible says “Christians”, not “Catholics”, so you again have no valid point. You should re-read the NT and the Book of Acts, in particular. You follow a false religion, led by a heretical Pope (your words), that doesn’t follow the Bible and uses supplemental interpretations and man-made writings to justify following ungodly practices. Your religion is full of child molesters, too, which should be eye-opening but oftentimes cult followers can’t see the error of their ways.

Why do you think the Bible doesn’t hold all the truths needed for redemption, forgiveness of sins, and eternal salvation? How do you rationalize Revelations 22:18 being in direct conflict with Catholic writings?

You're like talking to a brick wall. The NT was written in Greek. There are a lot of words you can't find in it. The world Christian applied to all early Christians, who were Catholic until various denomination broke off needing other descriptors saying what type of Christian.

  1. You don't find "sola scriptura" anywhere in the Bible.

  2. Your Bible is missing 7 books from it. It was compiled in 382AD, these books contain many Catholic/Orthodox beliefs, such as prayers for the dead. They were dropped by Luther as inconvenient. This explains your ignorance.

  3. I don't follow the Pope, he's merely a temporary caretaker, and this one isn't so good at it. I am a member of a church, founded by Christ.

  4. I won't deny that faggots infiltrated the Church. But don't be so quick to accept Jewish lies about the extent of it. Your kids are more in danger in a public school.

  5. What don't you get that if there are 40,000 different denominations, than your interpretation is no more valid than any other?
