In southern Germany, winters have had so little snow the last couple of years that they had to get snow-clearing equipment out of a museum a few weeks back to clear tram tracks in Munich. They had scrapped the old equipment because they hadn't needed to use it in years.

In the Alps, more and more ski slopes are closing down because there's no snow anymore in the winter.
