Walking cities discourage street takeovers by reducing the space and opportunities for disruptive activities like illegal gatherings or demonstrations.
A focus on walkability often means narrower streets, limited parking, and increased surveillance, making it more challenging for large groups to obstruct traffic or engage in disruptive behavior (unless its BLM, of course).
European cities are walkable but have just as many if not more retarded protestors when compared to americas car cities. German walkable cities had massive protests in support of legalizing human-animal marriage recently.
