I think part of it too is when you grow up with the narrative that you're among the luckiest people in the world to be born in the U.S. because it's the best life experience on earth ever in history and a not insignificant amount of people psychologically respond to that with omg this is as good as it gets and it still sucks ass
Yeah I'm worried about those with debilitating issues flocking to this for relief, but there is none to be had with this junk. Edit: not to say the spoiled aren't unfortunate too and I pray they don't get fooled as well.
