This whole thing feels like a repeat of the '70s. Pretty sure the "arab street" will eventually blame the USA for Israel's actions and switch to trading with China / Russia.

Yes but I have a feeling they had that figured out already and they are planning something bigger to whitewash it. Those who think they are safe and sound in the west should not be.
