There was an interesting Greek researcher who 10+ years ago found a frequency of ultrasound that successfully started decalcify human pineal gland when being exposed via the nasal canal.

As for the skate oil and other wife tail's things, no they don't work.
You need a calcium chelating agent and you need to get it pass the blood-brain barrier. Maybe a form of cyclitol phosphate or specific nucleotide compounds could do the trick.
also, i'd like to know more about the researcher you mentioned. any additional relevant search terms you can think of? i've been thinking about playing around with/building a similar apparatus.
