b) others suggest the-ism to tempt one to consent to being owned by others.

Each ones perception represents medium (Latin medius; middle) within all perceivable.

tech...influencer

Suggested tech aka techno-logy (artifice-reason) tempts one to ignore that perceivable (flow) moves ones perception (form). Influence implies being (life) within fluid (inception towards death).
