Israel is a tiny country

Only through the eyes of ignorance. Hebrew yisra'el - "he that striveth with God" implies ones (life) struggle within all (inception towards death) as center of surrounding. Others suggest country as in opposition to city (center), hence inverting perceivable by suggestion.
