Reincarnation is utterly incompatible with the words of Jesus, who directly says that people will go to heaven, or hell, based on their deeds. Hell is called “the eternal fire” in Matthew 25:41. Eternity, therefore, precludes reincarnation, which is why it died out as a "Christian" belief. It's heresy that contradicts Jesus' teaching directly, and not just some obscure theological detail which explains 40,000 plus denominations.
So, belief in reincarnation is fine...for non-Christians. And no, Mormans are not Christians.
Anyway, the word your looking for, for your take on Jesus, is "Arianism".
There are likely a lot of people in heaven that I wouldn't expect, and I'm sure there are people who were Arians.
I suppose the caveat is once they make it there, and the fullness of divine truth is revealed to them, as much as a human mind can comprehend that is, they wouldn't be Arians anymore.
There is plenty of evidence that Jesus is the Son of God, none of it conclusive, I'll readily admit, while reincarnation has very little, if any.
