How I wound up here.. In that pike book.. it had a line,
The immovable jewels are
the ROUGH ASHLAR, the PERFECT ASHLAR or CUBICAL STONE, or,
in some Rituals, the DOUBLE CUBE, and the TRACING-BOARD, or
TRESTLE-BOARD.
I paste that in Bing AI, says it's from "Manual of the Lodge by Albert, G. Mackey" from 1891. 300 pages.
This seems more straightforward where it's basic, ok these objects you see in Freemasonry, that's what this one's about. Starting out though.. they're just showing a bunch of objects, not saying what they are. lol. Later though there's text. Scrolling down, saw that one with the old dude with the beard behind a chick.
Page 111, they're talkin about the beehive. lol.
THE BEE-HIVE
Is an emblem of industry, and recommends the prac-
. , . . , • tice of that virtue to all created
• « beings, from the highest seraph in
heaven to the lowest reptile of the
dust. It teaches us, that as we came
into the world rational and intelligent beings, so we
should ever be industrious ones ; never sitting down
contented while our fellow-creatures around us are in
want, when it is in our power to relieve them without
inconvenience to ourselves.
Notice in this manual of the lodge, this is the first time I see sheet music with these guys. So they do songs like in churches. As you keep going you see some. You look at the lyrics though.. you know it's about Lucifer. lol
