Everything in the bible is true.....but peoples interpretation vary depending on their level of understanding. I believe his time scale is off ( Hebrew calendar is wacked). Yes they wanted to make things happen before the right time. Some things have to happen before the tribulation including the rapture and the temple in Jerusalem must be built before that happens. The man of sin will have a withered hand and an eye will be put out. The whore of babylon refers to the roman catholic church, not Jerusalem. He does make some interesting points however and it's worthy to consider them.
