Asking bing AI about the guy who started this operation.. it's not under any denomination.. they use this bible from 1978..
"I found some information about the New International Version (NIV) from 1978. It is a completely new translation of the Holy Bible made by over a hundred scholars working directly from the best available Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek texts1. It was published by the New York Bible Society (now the New York International Bible Society) and sponsored by many denominations"
The other day it was saying this pastor had a net worth of 10M. How's this go on, if they're "non profit". I guess his "salary". lol.
Meanwhile.. I try to find the financial statements of this roman catholic church in the small town I grew up in. They got their like more head office type region here in the city. They have a basic page.. but no financial statements like springs. lol.
So what the fuck is going on with these guys.. and this is like the vatican is their bosses. What a fucking cult, man. Money laundering operation.
If you'd know somebody who works for the tax man, that'd be interesting to see "the numbers" for these fucking places, eh. They'd go.. oh.. "Bob" gave us a shitload of money. Would be interesting to keep digging too.. go see Bob's tax stuff. And is there any real "Bob" too.. with fucking filming video footage on a sunday.. do people go there. Lots of these shenanigan churches here in the city.. you never see people go there even on sundays. No parking. Betcha their tax shit they go, oh we got a bunch of money from so and so. But the tax man would never actually dig into if these people even fucking exist.
In short you are claiming that some churches, especially small ones without congregations, are being used as tax havens.
Pretty sure catholics are supposed to pay like 10% of their family income in some crap like that. I know some well off catholics. If every member family in the small church here donated $10k a year that would be like 2 million bucks for a small church in a small ass town.
yeah but I was looking into this.. if you'd run a non profit organization and lets say you get given a bunch of money.. like they don't like that. You'd probably have to pay taxes or something.
