The problem is that the state and local governments have BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars in large pension funds and mutual funds on behalf of millions of government workers who will retire and collect large pension checks the rest of their lives.
So the problem is if you have a bunch of WOKE faggots managing those funds. They could steer all that buying power one way or the other based on politics.
Imagine if managers of these huge pension funds say we will not invest in corporations who don't hire minor attracted persons. It could be something crazy like that.
The solution is to get rid of government pensions altogether. Reduce government pay starting with their retirement packages and benefits. Reduce federal holidays. Max out government pay at whatever the median is for that location. Right now you have LOW QUALITY talent in HIGH PAYING government jobs. Reduce the pay to correlate with the low quality service we get.

If i understand these divestment bans, Republicans want to prevent managers of public funds to boycott israeli investments.
I took it a step further providing a case why the public pension funds should be phased out and eliminated altogether.
