I agree. I think she underestimates how ignorant the vast majority of the population is on the topic. Most people have never heard about, or don't think it's real, or don't think it's something that could happen near them.
They have no concept of what trafficking is, the system or people involved.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if there is money laundering involved. As 'Christian' and 'moral' as Mormons are, they have a ruthless dark side. That's why they are heavily represented in the alphabet.
