BIO (life) METRIC (to measure)...only those alive can measure; suggested "biometrics" represent affixed measurements, hence tempting ones mind to hold onto them.

Living implies animation, hence movement (a moving mind)...affixed measurements tempt one to ignore motion as the source for ones animation.
