Man I was digging into the Baghdad battery again, and some of these "researchers" really believe that items like the belt or mask of king tut are results of some lost gold leaf techniques.

The surface of the mask is covered in a very thin layer (approximately 30 nanometres) of two different alloys of gold: a lighter 18.4 karat shade for the face and neck, and 22.5 karat gold for the rest of the mask.[9]

Do these people really expect me to believe that someone had enough skill to put a perfect 30 nanometer layer of gold film on there?

Much like today, gold leaf used in ancient times for a gilded surface was pounded thin before it was applied. The pounding of gold was achieved by using hammers, stones, and copper. Gold leaf during those times could be as thin as 1 micron, while today's gold leaf can be as thin as . 01 micron by mechanical means.

1 micron is 1000 nanometers.

.01 is 10.

There is no fucking way in hell someone could do this by hand, but yet this is the trash they teach in schoolbooks.

Dont get me started on the computer. Proof flat earth doesnt exist, but it wont change a flat earthers mind. Also proof that someone had some pretty advanced celestial knowledge, knowledge we shouldn't have had yet. Thats not even mentioning the math, engineering, and techniques to build the fucking thing.
