Hardly corporations will ever allow that.

Just recall a story with DeLorean stainless steel car. And it wasn't even full stainless steel, only panels.

Who will buy a new car if old one is fine? Replace wearables and that's all. That's not what current version of corporate capitalism could allow for itself.
