I've always wondered how valuable internet ads are. My mind automatically skips over ads. I don't even see them, let alone click on them. Is that unique to me? Is there a large chunk of viewers out there that are ad click happy? Seems like anything dependent on ad revenue would eventually fail when marketers discover that nobody pays attention to their ads. Since that hasn't happened yet, I assume there must be people out there that do click on all of these ads.
How valuable is Twitter to you? You won't miss anything important by not having an account or reading threads there
It was one of the best almost uncensored link aggregators in the past year.
Now that they have:
killed the search (for non-logged in users)
closed down the API
killed the #hashtag browsing (for non logged-in users)
killed the viewing of ANY content for non logged-in users
It is no more.
So, we will have to divert to other platformS and see which one gathers best audience and best S/N ratio.
I have a bigger issue that Twitter wants to auto log me into whatever Google account my phone is using. Nitter is going to get more popular.
NITTER REDIRECT - works for now, not sure for how long:
Firefox/Mozilla based browsers:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/nitter-redirect/
Chromium based browers:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/nitter-redirect/mohaicophfnifehkkkdbcejkflmgfkof/related?hl=en
Nitter hasn't been working for me since the login wall went up. I don't know why Nitter is working for some people.
Yeah, it worked for about 15 mins for me, then went down.
People keep posting Nitter links, so they must be working for somebody.
Dunno. All instances I tried went down for me. Maybe some nitter instances are working?
Telegram has much more stuff on France BLM-copy-cat-PsyOp anyway, so good riddance to Twatter.
You have to give out your phone number to access them, just like Twitter.
I bought one prepaid SIM on my holiday without ID, used that for one time verification. Never used that SIM for anything else and let it expire.

I've never seen an Internet ad that was even remotely interesting.
