How does Curiosity Mars Rover take pictures of itself?
Answer (1 of 14): Just a bit of photoshop cleverness. The final picture is a mosaic created from about 30 or more individual shots taken from many slightly different angles, the final shots used to create the mosaic are all ones where the arm cannot be see...
That is a weird thumbnail to associate with the link I posted, lol.
That's how most of the pictures are, and have been for ages, not just of the rover itself. They're all doctored in Photoshop. Same with orbital telescopes, though there are good technical arguments, there (they're often coloring non-visible spectra). It's easier to make and apply a narrowly focused camera, for high detail, than make cameras with wide views that also can tightly focus. You then take many overlapping pictures from that camera.
For Mars, there is a good argument to be made thar adjusting things like color, and opportunistically removing details, is being done so that we don't see everything they're receiving.
The "Mars" rover is on Devon Island, space is fake my friend.
Yep.
Heres a video of the dumb down tech
but basically its a mosaic of lots of pictures stitched together... the arm of the rover is a gimballed camera... "a high tech selfie stick"
same thing new escalades use to give a birds eye view on their rear view camera
This is what I don't get about the Mars Rover theory. I remember growing up, being told that, it would take like 100's of light years to get to the nearest planet, mars I think. Just now doing a duckgo search this is what I get According to NASA, a one-way trip to the Red Planet would take about nine months. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? When I was watching this in the news, I was like WTF, didn't they just launch the Mars Rover like a year ago? Don't we have like 99.999 more light years to go??"
Not sure how you got hundreds of light years to the nearest planet. Thought it was about a 2 year journey myself but that was older tech. To the next galaxy would be hundreds of light years, not the next planet.
The ;picture was originally meant to be one of those "revelation of the method" taunts from the Elites. You know, one of those ones they put out to prove that the masses are dumb and ignorant and deserve to be ruled.
The key piece of evidence is that the first (overly elaborate) explanation of "how it was done" came out long after the photo itself. That is to say, after a few people started noticing the error. So why do it at all, and if you're going to go to all that trouble, why not promote this "cool thing" you were going to do? It was just the cover story.
You can witness the shills backpedaling hard right in this thread. Of course, some of them are simply ignorant dupes. And you can learn from that, too: When you see people that turn on their own kind and the pathetically low reasoning abilities of some, well, that's what the Elites believe gives them justification, isn't it?
