Good thinking. By the end of this year I expect the US government to roll out its CBDC, which IMO may not qualify as money under the Constitution. That means several states may resort to reclaim precious metals as legal tender. That would mean big demand for gold and silver.
I think the original plan was to start rolling out CBDC as early as this July. It got delayed a bit, nevertheless by end of the year maybe. But, it will fail, just like it failed in Nigeria. In US there's just so much infrastructure not ready for this.
