No one really knows for sure the Jewish person who wrote them, or if they were written by someone who knew the Jewish plans intimately and wanted to expose them.

But Asher Ginsberg stands as the most likely culprit as he was the teacher and master of Stephen Wise who was the most prominent leader of the Jews.
